Users can set up the options they wish to use beforehand with the included software and then activate them simply with a click. The backup feature works exclusively under the Windows 2000 and XP operating systems. Under Mac systems and older Windows versions the Swift-Case functions as a standard high transfer rate external data storage device. The passively cooled housing is constructed from high-grade aluminum and can be set up vertically to save space using the included base.
